Procurement FAQs
Ballmate is designed for daily, multi-session use. Materials and wheels are specified for coaching volume, not occasional recreational use. Full technical notes sit in the spec sheet; warranty terms summarise what is covered.
A 12 months limited warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal coaching use. Exclusions include misuse, accidental damage, and normal cosmetic wear. Claims are handled with photos and order reference.
Program and institutional orders are usually quoted through the quote builder or sales team, then invoiced with line items matching the approved quote.
Dispatch typically within the same or next business day; transit depends on region (Australia, US, EU). Tracking is emailed when the order ships. Large program rollouts may ship in waves – your contact will confirm dates.
Yes. The institutional procurement pack bundles spec summary, warranty overview, rollout narrative, and tools vs infrastructure comparison. The spec sheet and implementation pages add depth for facilities and finance reviewers.
Implementation / rollout plan
How adoption works in real program: coach champions, standardisation across courts, and institutional approval cycles – written for operations and committee readers.
Adoption stages
- Coach champion proves workflow on one court or squad block.
- Program standardisation aligns coaches to one system language.
- Institutional approval receives spec, warranty, rollout, and quote documentation.
Operational setup
Storage placement, staff handover, and multi-court consistency – mapped to your facility's traffic patterns and coaching schedule. Program buyers receive a simple court-end layout and handover checklist during onboarding.
Timeline
- Quote review – itemised program total and optional demo with your coaches.
- Procurement – PO, vendor setup, or checkout depending on your organisation.
- Dispatch – tracking when your order ships; program rollouts may ship in waves.
- On-court onboarding – handover checklist, storage placement, first-session tips.
- Program audit – standardisation check across courts before peak season.
Timelines flex by region, season start, and institutional approval cycles.
Tools vs infrastructure
Systems replace tools. The comparison stops when workflow becomes baseline across your program.
Durability, warranty & support
Ballmate is engineered for high-volume coaching – wheels, frame, hopper, and joints are specified for daily roll-on, roll-off court use, not occasional hobby play.
Durability
The All-in-One and Pickup Basket use a reinforced polymer shell, aluminium structural elements, and UV-stabilised fabric in the hopper. Wheels and axle assemblies are rated for typical court-to-carpark distances and indoor acrylic. We recommend rinsing clay debris from wheels after outdoor sessions to maintain smooth rolling.
Warranty
Ballmate products are covered by a 12 months limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal coaching use.
The warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear (including cosmetic scuffs), unauthorised modifications, or damage from commercial freight handled without following our packing guidelines.
To make a claim, contact support with your order number and photos of the issue.
